High Hotels, Ltd. Promotes Gregory A. High

Lancaster, Pennsylvania – Gregory A. High has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Development for High Hotels, Ltd., an affiliate of High Industries, Inc.  Previously, he served as Director of Development for the firm and has been with High Industries, Inc. since 1992.

Recently, High successfully brought the last two hotel projects – Hilton Garden Inn, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and Marriott Courtyard, Middletown, New York – through site acquisition, land development approvals, construction, and opening. 

In his new position, High will continue to identify markets and sites in the Mid-Atlantic region for development of new hotels, or acquisition of existing hotels, and will guide them through the development process. High has experience in strategic planning, marketing, accounting, customer service, development, and operations.

High will also continue in his capacity as a Director on the Board of High Industries, Inc.; Chairman of the High Family Council; Chairman of the High Family Assembly; and Chairman of The High Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Prior to joining High Hotels, Ltd., High served as Director of Marketing for High Steel Structures, Inc., where he was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for the largest steel bridge fabricator in the United States.

High graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) in hotel, restaurant, and institutional management.
