LANCASTER, PA, April 10, 2006 – Marriott International, Inc. has named the new
Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Courtyard by Marriott Hotel "Opening Hotel of the Year" for 2005. The Courtyard by Marriott, located at 1931 Hospitality Drive in the Greenfield Corporate Center, received the top honor at the Marriott International General Managers' Conference in San Diego, in February.
Recognized from among 28 Courtyard by Marriott Hotels opened in 2005, the Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott was selected based on (1) exceptional readiness for opening, (2) high levels of construction and design compliance in meeting Marriott's required standards, (3) ability to open earlier than planned, (4) financial success, and (5) strong opening occupancy.
During its first year of service, the Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott also has quickly become the number one ranked Courtyard by Marriott Hotel out of more than 680 Courtyard by Marriott Hotels worldwide based on guest satisfaction ratings.
The Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott is owned and operated by High Hotels, Ltd., an affiliate of High Real Estate Group. Its opening marked the completion of High Hotels' second hotel in Lancaster and the eleventh hotel for the company. The Lancaster Courtyard by Marriott was designed by Greenfield Architects, Ltd.; High Construction Company was the general contractor for the project. Both are affiliates of High Real Estate Group of Lancaster.

The 133 room and suites hotel opened in the summer of 2005. It is convenient to many Lancaster County attractions including shopping outlets, Downtown Lancaster, and Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
